Re: Soccer Training (Alona/anyone)

Andy sauntered onto the field with Stevens, the teacher team behind them. They were a mixed bunch - some from the social sciences department, some from music, from Law, and of course some other sports teachers. They began to warm-up, all hardly concealing their grins. Andy's eyes searched for Alona, and then finding her he grinned, giving her a thumbs up.

Alona continued the warm-up, her ponytail bouncing up and down. When the teachers started to come on the field, she and her teammates started to smirk to each other and giggle about them. When she saw O'Hara looking at her, she gave him a grin and a thumbs up as well.

Andy shook his head. "Look at that, Stevens. They're all laughing at us," Andy said in mock sadness. "We'll just have to show them exactly how awesome we are."

Soon enough, the match was about to start. The students made a line, ready to shake hands with the rival team.

Smirking, the teachers shook hands. This was going to be fun. Neither side wanted to lose as it would ultimately mean a huge amount of teasing and ridicule from the opponents, so the teachers were determined to win this.

Alona shook hands with each teacher. When she got to O'Hara she grinned challengingly. "Good luck, Prof," she said.

He returned the grin. "Good luck to you. You're going to need it," he added with a smirk.

Alona just chuckled and shook her head as she continued to shake hands with the other teachers.

Soon the ref's whistle blew and the match began. The ball flew across the field, the players flocking to the ball like moths to a light. The teacher's got possesion of the ball, running down the field, determined to score. The ball went to Andy and he couldn't help but smirk as he shot the ball into the goal.

Alona was surprised at how easily the students lost the ball, and it went to the teachers. Them scoring in the first minute of the match, would have been really embarassing. Luckily, she was able to catch it.

Andy raised his eyebrows at her, impressed. He made a note to try harder next time; this wasn't going to be as easy as they'd originally thought. Not with such a great goal-keep.

Alona looked around, trying to spot the nearest teammate. Once she did that, she passed the ball to him.

One of the teachers intercepted the ball, kicking it to Stevens. Stevens dribbled the ball up the field, managing to keep it away from the students. After all, he could hardly call himself a coach if he didn't play well. Nearing the goal, he aimed, kicked and gave a happy yell as the ball went in.

[Alona Andrews]

Alona fell down in her attempt to stop the ball, but she failed anyway. She kicked her thigh, not hard though. "Shoot!" she exclaimed.

Looking over at her, Andy playfully stuck out her tongue at her, before grinning as the game resumed again.

Alona rolled her eyes a little, then got up from the ground. Of course, all this was just a friendly, fun match, but her teammates knew that they couldn't lose in front of their teachers. Just imagine the teasing they would get after that!
She got up from the ground and passed the ball to a boy nearby. "Stanley," she whispered. William Stanley was the football team captain, and he could definetly score.

Andy just smirked. "Come on, Andrews. I thought you were tougher than that," he teased, before jogging out to mid-field again.

Alona chuckled a bit to herself and shook her head. He definetly liked to tease a lot, but that made him her favourite teacher, probably, and so much fun to be around. She didn't say anything, but looked at the boy nearby passing the ball to Stanley. The goal was theirs now, definetly.
