"I didn't say that," Ellie protested. "There's a difference between looking tired and looking like crap. And you only look tired m'dear. What've you got next? Cos if you have free, go have a sleep at the library," she said with a smile.

Alona yawned and passed a hand through her hair. "No," she said, shaking her head. "I don't have free, I've got History."

[Ellie Volkova]

Ellie pulled a face. "Oh how fun... I've always sucked at History. Embarrassingly enough, my younger sister took it upon herself to teach me history..."

Alona's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Really?" she asked. "I like it, honestly, I've always liked it. I'm kind of tired right now, but I'm fine with it."

Ellie laughed at her reaction. "Ok, don't get me wrong, I know all the major events that happened in history, the stuff they drill into you at school, but other than that, I'm hopeless," she said with a sheepish shrug. "I remember my sister took me out one day and gave me the whole history surrounding Anne Boleyn," she smiled at the memory. "The next week we started on various kings..."

Alona smiled a bit at that. "How was law class? What did you think of Richards?" she asked.

Ellie smiled at that. "It was great. He seems like a really awesome teacher," she replied. "I'm glad I have someone cool like him for such an intense subject..."

Alona nodded a bit with a shrug. "Yeah, he's nice," she said.

She grinned. "And he seemed pretty cool with you missing his classes," she teased.

"Oh, come on!" Alona laughed a bit. "It happened just once."

"That one day will haunt you for ever and ever now," Ellie teased, laughing a bit.

Alona laughed as well and passed a hand through her hair, trying to rearrange it a bit, as it really looked like crap.

Ellie checked her watch. She needed to head off otherwise she'd be late. "Coffee after school?" she asked. "You need a pick-me-up, and I know the coolest little place. Meet outside after class?"

[Alona Andrews]

"Coffee, yes!" Alona grinned. "Lots of coffee, that's what I need. Yes, I'd love to."

[Ellie Volkova]

Ellie grinned. "Yes. And then we can discuss going out on the weekend. To celebrate my first week here," she added with a smile.

"Definetly," Alona smiled with a nod. It was always great making new friends, and Ellie seemed like the right person.

Ellie grinned, heading off, waving. She was really glad she'd made friends with Alona today. She no longer felt like a complete loner.
Her classes dragged on, but she enjoyed them, trying her best. At times she found her mind sneaking back to Law class as that was the subject she wanted to be the very best in, but she pushed all thoughts out of her mind and concentrated on the classes she had.

Finally classes were over and she headed outside to wait for Alona.

After classes, Alona was so glad that she was going to a coffee with Ellie, she really needed that. She got outside and spotted the new girl not far away from her. "Hey, you," she greeted her with a smile.

Ellie smiled as she saw Alona coming up to her. "Hey. Ready to go? I'm dying for an energy hit," she said with a grin. "I had a lengthy discussion with my German teacher today about exactly why Rammstein are not a disgrace to the German language as most natives seem to think. It was a most amusing discussion. I think I won," Ellie added, her smile turning slightly triumphant.

Alona smiled, raising her eyebrows. "What, he said they did?" she asked. "Huh, he's lucky I'm taking French instead of German.

"Well we got into a discussion about subject-matter of their songs and how most of them can be seriously disturbing. And so he was all like 'it's not right that people go around singing these lyrics that they don't even know what they mean and swearing their undying love for a group which has such scary material'. So I shot back with Rammstein being the German version of Murderdolls and how no one goes around criticising them for singing about killing brides and such," she said as they walked. "Then I added that most of the fans start learning the language because of the songs, which is ultimately a good thing because the world needs more bilinguals," she finished with a smile.
