Ryan smiled when Julie said that to him. He got to work setting up the tent, knowing that Julie wouldn't let him do all the work. He didn't mind, he knew Julie was the down and dirty type, he liked that about her as he worked on the tent. He loved how Julie had that rugged streak about her, unlike some of the other girls that he had met before coming to college. To him, Julie only looked delicate, but he knew that she was tough given what she had been through. "You make a great outdoors woman Julie." he said to her off the cuff as he worked.

Juliette smiled a little to herself, following Ryan to their secluded spot. She had never been a princess who needed to be served with everything and didn't bend a finger if it meant she could break a nail. But she knew enough women who were like that. And she hated them. Very much.
No, she really wasn't like that. In fact, she liked the outdoors, she just didn't get to spend as much time there. This weekend really was an exception, because they had no classes and were off the hook with exams or tests afterwards. Well, at least for another week or so.

"Always have, I guess." she replied to remark and chuckled a little. "I have been a regular girl scout, you know."

Well, it had been the only thing they would let the kids do during summer, when she was still living at the orphanage. Truth be told though, Julie was glad that she didn't have to live there anymore. Although she did like the camp and the piano lessons that she got. But she never was the type who liked it at the orphanage. The strict rules and the nasty other girls who also didn't get adopted. It made her sad, because she had been a lovely, sweet little girl, probably just too shy back then to get adopted.

Ryan smiled when Julie said that to him, picturing her in a scout uniform as he finished up. "I love that about you." he said to her honestly. He soon stepped back and looked at the tent. "All done" he said to her. Ryan walked back to the car and got their sleeping bags out, taking them to the tent and setting them up. As he did, he felt that Julie was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. That made him smile again as he set the sleeping bags up in the tent. "Got the sleeping bags set up for us." he said to her after backing out of the tent and looking at Julie. It was clear that he was happy for this time they were spending together.
