"Oh so there's another reason?" he quirked up one eyebrow

Ellie grinned and slightly stuck her tongue out at him. "That's for me to know, and you to fins out," she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Oh that's a tease. You're pulling my strings of curiousness." Patrick whined teasingly

Ellie grinned. "Yup. Yes, I am. You can't expect me to tell you all my devious plans to you on our first day, can you? So you'll have to wait and find out..."

He pouted playfully. "Aww. Ok. I'll let you surprise me." he teased

Ellie gave him a playful grin. "Great..." She looked at him for a moment, then still smiling looked away,

"Oh that sounds devious to me." Patrick kept teasing. He was so amused by this. Curiousity levels were high now.

"Devious is my middle name," she replied cheekily. "Just you wait. I'll carry out my plan when you least expect it..."

"Exactly. And in the meantime you'll be itching as hell to figure it out." Emm smacked her hand on his back, smirking mischievously

"And you, of course, will be teasing me about that?" he glared at his sister. Great.

"Sure bro. Beware my little tricks." Emm cast a dark glare at Patrick. Lovely.

Patrick snorted "Awesome. I feel so loved here."

[Ellie Volkova]

"Oh you are loved," Ellie assured him. "We just have a funny way of showing it," he teased. "So, what are you guys doing later?" she asked. "I've got one last lecture and then I'm free so maybe we could get some coffee. Or maybe a picnic, seeing as it's such a nice day outside today..."

"I can agree on that." Patrick said smiling.

"Great. Then we probably need to get done with our stuff while you have that lecture. I think we can stick to picnic." he looked up towards sky.

Ellie gave a chuckle. "Oh I wouldn't be so sure. The weather can change pretty quickly... One minute it's sunny and you're nice and dry, the next it's torrential downpour..."

Patrick's eyes grew wide. "Gee, really?"
He had forgotten about Chicago weather, it's been while since he lived here.
Then Pat's eyes started sparkling as backup plan roared up in his mind. "We can always grab that mega big tent and borrow barbecue grill from Auntie." he said clasping his hands in excitement.

Ellie giggled. "But it's kinda fun getting stuck in a downpour, as long as you have an easy way of getting home out of it..." When he suggested that, her eyes widened, sparkling with excitement. "Oh that would be awesome! That sounds like a totally epic idea! Or even we don't have to have a barbeque, we can just have a giant picninc in the tent..."

"Well maybe for fish. And us." he said, thinking about last heavy downpour he spent sitting on the beach completely soaked but with a six-pack of tequila. "On the other hand I don't mind stormy weather." he added thoughtful expression.

"I actually have spent some time living in a huge tent only I didn't have grill, just fireplace. Was kinda fun watching fire and playing guitar during sunset." Patrick told with this dreamy expression on his face as his thoughts returned to that time. And yet again he spaced out.

[Ellie Volkova]

"I don't mind stormy weather, as long as I'm inside," she said with a giggle. "I love being inside on a rainy day, just listening to the rain while I'm all warm and snuggled up inside... Though walking about in gumboots and a colourful umbrella, jumping in puddles is also quite fun..."

Ellie smiled when he told her that. It sounded so lovely. "Sounds so perfect," she told him with a smile.

"I love storm. When wind is about to blow you away. Strong winds are giving me energy. And actually I do walk out in the rain, my pink gumboots are always ready for fun." Patrick told. "Only my umbrella flew away in storm once."



"Well it was perfect. I can even arrange that to happen here." he had planned for some time at lake

"Okay my dreamy souls here, let's get moving. Patrick still needs to get some order in our place and finally show me how to navigate this whole place." Emma said cheery as they walked. It was good day. And even better start for them. Patrick deserved to finally be in a place that isn't street and people that aren't thieves around. And this one fit that all, although she wasn't sure how her brother will be dealing with his 'new' life. But Emma hoped for best, as usual, and knew if something's about to happen she'll be there for him.

Patrick only grinned at his sissy, having thousand and one thought and plan happilly buzzing around his head.
The young man tend to filter zillion different thoughts per second all the time, sometimes it made him space out, other times just dizzy.
Right now he was varying between two states but never let it show, at he thought that. Spacing out wasn't easy to hide.

His smile was present even when Emma said he needed to do something at home. Not even hidden threat about cleaning up and organizing his own room couldn't take away Patrick's 'butterfly in meadow' mood.

Finding friends felt so good. Especially such awesome friend like Ellie was. And now he had found another soul to share with. This thought made his grin even bigger.
